Aloha everyone! Apologies for the lack of updates, it’s just that we have been too occupied with other aspect of work hence the blog has been neglected. Let’s see what have we been up to for the past 1 week plus!

Weekends was a full day of meet up for us starting from morning all the way to the night. The meetups were sort of scheduled back to back, so we could only grab quick munchies like oatmeal or our protein shake. Not too bad a day, at least it was well spent meeting new and interesting people. It’s not really easy trying to communicate with fresh faces. Getting them to open up to strangers is even harder especially if you’re asking them to share intimate and personal information about their life. But well, that’s wedding! Intimate and personal! 🙂

Then we had a shoot for Baby Trevor’s second birthday celebration in school! Not exactly the first time we work with so many kids, and I guess our line of work is really all about personal relationship. You know even the kids were pretty reserved infront of us, when according to their teachers they’re really just a bunch of little monsters on normal days. Hahahaha! Then we had dinner with Herman and Janet + BB Trevor + Janet’s folks at Tung Lok Signatures. The durian dessert were so fantabulous!! I’ll leave that to another day when the images are done. 🙂

We also had a shoot at Grand Copthorne Waterfront Hotel where Raymond was using the Hasselblad medium format digital back for the shoot and he had the Profoto D1 Air with him as well. Well, that took almost the whole day and Raymond zonked out totally after that.

Then we had a shoot for a talented music artist DJ Justin Michael who flew in all the way from LA for a gig at Mink! Do check out his new single “Eyes Closed” at www.beatport.com! Raymond, Susu and I spent a lot of time listening through all the different remixes and the main track is just so groovy you never get sick of listening to it even on repeat. 🙂

Yesterday was work and work, and we met up with a couple in the evening. I find them kinda interesting, and even Susu felt the same too! There’s just something about them that makes you wana find out more about them. Hahaha~ The day ended with Raymond and I having butterscotch bread with luncheon meat and egg for dinner.

Today is work and work, Victoria also dropped by with her mum to look through the conceptualised pre-wedding photographs. She even brought us a box of delicious pie from Don’s! OMG the box was quite heavy but Raymond, Susu and I managed to finish the entire box of pie within like less than half an hour. Kekeke. That’s the gluttons at RPP for you. :p

More meet ups coming for the week, and we’ll be dropping by Bridal Affairs for a visit this week too. Very excited to meet Christin again. Kekeke. Saturday we’ll be shooting John and Eileen’s maternity, Sunday meet up, and Raymond will be flying off to KL for a photography seminar till 6th of September 2012 while Ben will leave for Penang from 4th until about 8/9 September.

Susu as usual would be glued to the monitor banging her head on the monitor from all the conceptualised pre-wedding edits which is really intensive.

PHEW! That pretty much summed up our past weeks and coming week. 🙂

Updates aside, here’s something from Chee Wee and Lynn’s actual day wedding at Hotel  Fort Canning! 🙂

Raymond Phang Actual Day Wedding - L&C 01

Lynn is a really meticulous person, and I think she’s really good in handicrafts too! The corridoor was spruced up nicely with all these ribbons and decors. If you enjoy unique little gadgets or gizmos, check out http://www.thebrowncookie.com/ . It’s Lynn’s awesome shop at Cluny Court!! When we first heard about the name of her shop we thought she’s selling cookies, so we were surprised when we visited her shop to see lots of unique stuffs! You can see a lot of thought, effort and creativity put into the decor, which really speaks a lot about Lynn! 🙂

Journalistic documendation means documenting all the good, the bad, the glam, the unglam, but all in all, it’s about documenting the true story. 🙂

Lynn almost done with her hair and make up, and here’s the final part, putting on the wedding veil. 🙂

Lynn actually bought materials to redesign a pair of very plain heels into this unique pair.

Here’s a picture of mummy enjoying all the interesting happenings of the gatecrashing from her room. Mummy didn’t have all these gatecrashing activities during her wedding. How much things have progressed through the years.

Lynn’s turn to have a hearty breakfast before leaving home. Hahahaha! This is not part of the gatecrashing games, but part of a tradition which not a lot of couple actually practice.

Raymond Phang Actual Day Wedding - L&C 09

There’s hardly any natural light at all as the wedding started super early! Lynn actually had to wake up at 3am!! Yes, 3 freaking am in the morning!! So make up started at 3.30am and Raymond arrived about 4.30am. For brides having a super early wedding, please try your best to concuss early the night before okie?

Coming to the evening part where the banquet was held at Hotel Fort Canning. It was a very enchanting garden themed wedding and they had iCleeq for the photobooth to entertain the guests.

Childhood photo montage before the couple march in. Sometimes when you’re not looking, Love just comes knocking on your door. And sometimes it’s all written in the will, destined to be…

And one of my favourite image to end off the entry. Makes me wonder what was going on when the picture was taken. Were they talking about taking good care of Lynn? Or talking about congratulations on becoming a Husband? Cos normally people do the normal handshake but not of this kind. Interesting… Hmm…

On a side note, didn’t know we have quite a few silent stalkers/trollers here. Hahaha. We’ll try our best to update as frequently as we can okie? Sometimes it’s hard to keep up when our hands are tied with work. If you wanna make sure we’re still living and breathing on Planet Earth, check out our cob web filled twitter or our Instagram. In the meantime we’ve uploaded quite a number of images on our Facebook which are not shared here on our blog. So do check them out ya? 🙂

Lots of Love,
Angeline
