For brides-to-be looking for information on wedding preparation such as wedding gowns, make up artists/stylists, venues, wedding themes, floral and decor, wedding planners etc etc etc, sometimes the task can be a really daunting one! There are so many forums, magazines and platforms where you can easily access all the information. But sometimes too much choices can be quite overwhelming especially when you feed your brain with too much info causing massive overload and you’ll just switch off!
I know how it feels because I have been through that stage – planning and researching for my own wedding. But I had it the easier way because being in this line, you sort of know who are the ones you’re more comfortable working with since you’ve worked with them several times before for other couples’ weddings. Friends’ recommendation can be a good thing, BUT we always advise despite the good recommendation, always make an effort to link up with the vendors, have a chat and see if YOU are comfortable having them around for your wedding. Do you trust them to do a good job for you on your wedding day? Because what worked for your friend might not work for you. Not everyone is suitable for smokey eyes and not everyone likes an elaborate wedding gown.
Everytime when I flip a wedding magazine, I get bored quickly because they seemed to feature similar content every now and then. They feature vendors who are currently advertising with their magazines. The magazines can be so thick and bulky to carry, and it’s quite a waste to throw them away. Not forgetting they are not exactly cheap as well.
When we first knew of The Wedding Notebook in beginning of Year 2013, we were drawn to it. The Wedding Notebook is an online magazine publication featuring work and vendors/artistes all over the world, not only in Singapore. You can catch up with the international trends and brands, and so far for so many issues throughout the years, we have never had a boring read. Not saying this only because we are featured in this issue, but because we really enjoyed the read!!
For brides and grooms to be who are looking for a good informative read to prep yourself for your wedding, do take a look at The Wedding Notebook. You can read it on the go on your phone or tablet, no problem on that. We hope you’ll enjoy the magazine as much as we do! <3
