The other time I was sharing about Molton Brown as a practical and useful wedding favour, today I’m finally sharing some pictures taken by Raymond Phang on Derek and Chui Ling’s actual day wedding. I’ve heard of Molton Brown previously, but it’s only through Derek and Chui Ling that I got to try the Molton Brown products first hand! Cos Chui Ling made sure that Raymond bring back the wedding favour for me. Hehehe. So sweet!! ๐
So here’s the morning preparation part, Chui Ling’s dad was already dressed to the nines in the morning even before the bride herself! The dads would most probably still be napping or dressed in their home clothes reading newspaper for most of the weddings that we’ve shot. This is one excited dad! ๐

So all the brothers came well prepared in short sleeved “suit” and bermudas, which is very gatecrashing friendly! Oei Derek, the brothers say eat ONE only, why you eat so many? ๐
The sisters actually prepared quite a number of games such as picking the chopped spring onions out from a bowl of eeky gooey porridge thingy to form words like I Love Chui Ling, they had write a short story with keywords given, they had to eat slices of bitter gourd and sandwich crackers with wasabi sauce freshly squeezed out from the tube which I thought looked quite like a big fat caterpillar. I shall skip all those foody images for now, but the groom actually did something really special which you’ll see later. ๐
It’s dancing time! Told you the boys’ attire is really gatecrashing friendly. You can shake your ass all day long and not worry about perspiration. ๐
Woah, look at the killer wedge (or espadrilles)! I still think Raymond has a foot fetish. HAHAHA!
The sisters were tickled by the dance moves, but it wasn’t satisfying enough for them. Maybe because got no strip tease. Muwahahaha! So they demanded for more ang pows, but unfortunately groom says ang pow no enough and showed his empty pockets. Jialat already, no money no honey. Derek might have to go back home and marry his bolster.
Fortunately for them the sisters were not an unreasonable bunch so they offered the groom an alternative solution. You see, some of the uncles and aunties collect drink cans and sell them to make money. So the sisters passed some waxing strip to the brothers. Wax off your leg hair and sell the leg hair for money!
For people who have never tried waxing before, it can be quite painful. I know waxing is a commonly played game for gatecrashing but I’d still like to share these images cos Derek was soooo ready to try it!
Then Raymond spotted an uncle who was hiding behind, secretly observing the games. Uncle, you want to try waxing too? Kekeke. ๐
Here’s the special thing I was mentioning about! Derek actually folded a box of 50 dollar notes into heart shapes! SO UBER SWEET!!!!!! He could have passed the box to the sisters right at the beginning and spare himself from the agony of going through the torturous games, but he didn’t! Wah makes me feel like instead of taking “revenge” at the evil sisters, you choose to forgive them and show them love instead. WAHHHHH!!!!! This one tops the list of earning 100 brownie points.
Effort +100!! The sisters must have loved him for that. Look at Derek’s face! Kekekeke~
Derek was allowed to enter the house, but before he meets his beautiful bride, he had to go through another stage which was the declaration of love. All these effort just to make his bride (and the sisters) smile. Both of Derek and Chui Ling are so lucky to be able to spend the rest of their lifetime together. ๐

Right after fetching of bride, they went ahead to Church of St Teresa for their church wedding ceremony.

They couple had some quick photoshoot around the church, and then it’s break time till the evening where they had another round of quick photoshoot around Fullerton hotel. ๐

Love their ang pow box at the reception! The couple engaged Iwannagowow for their photobooth funtertainment which WOW-ed the guests with their huge variety of props!
OoOooOh~ Love the balloon! The groom looks a bit like Elvis Presley with his curry pok hair. Muwahahahaha!
