Wendy’s brother had biceps to die for and Raymond had his eyes fixed on them when he first met Wendy’s brother in the morning of the wedding day. You know when you keep looking at something, sometimes it can give people the wrong impression… XD
In this case, Raymond was really interested in Wendy’s brother……I mean Wendy’s brother’s biceps! Raymond being Raymond with his usual signature style to incorporate some element of quirks in his images, here goes a shot of Wendy’s brother’s biceps with Wendy standing in front of him to create the quirky illusion for this image. 🙂
For couples who are keen in working with Raymond for your actual day wedding, here’s how Raymond usually works. Prolly 70% to 80% of his shots are journalistic, documenting the event as it unfolds, leaving everything as it is. He just blends in with the background, observes and shoot be it the good or bad, happy or sad. Because all these are real moments, with no pretence.
20% to 30% would be the posed shots. You see, Raymond is more of the spontaneous person. He enjoys challenges and working with the available element on the wedding day itself. So whenever he gets inspired, he’ll just grab the couple (sometimes together with the bridal party) for some posed shots. It can be the pretty pictures like a mini bridal pre wedding photoshoot, or it can be the quirky and funny ones, depending on mood, depending on inspiration, and depending on what’s available. Of course if the couple prefers for the entire day to be captured in its natural moment, meaning absolutely zero posed shots, then they can always let us know beforehand and we’ll totally leave them alone on the wedding day itself. We’re flexible with that. 🙂
